Full Description

PRN 70209 During an evaluation, a deposit of small angular limestone was recorded, which may indicate the presence of a stone structure on the reclaimed land on the river frontage. Artefacts found on the site included large quantities of animal bone, pottery and tile, probably representing dumping associated with the medieval/post-medieval reclamation of the north bank of the River Witham.{1}{2}
