Full Description

During a watching brief, a medieval pottery scatter was recorded, consisting of seventeen sherds, with four dating to the tenth-twelfth centuries. Three pieces of fired clay were also recovered. Although no archaeological features were observed, the density of finds suggests that this is the site of at least one late Saxon and medieval dwelling in the immediate area, possibly west of Orchard House.{1}{2}
