The former Waddington Mill is marked in this location, on the 1st edition 1" Ordnance Survey map of 1824. The mill is depicted as a post-mill type of windmill, located on the cliff-edge, to the north-west of Waddington village. {1} The mill is also depicted on the 1st edition 6" Ordnance Survey County Series map of 1887, though was labelled as 'Disused' at that time. The exact date that the mill stopped being worked is unknown, though would have been in the mid 19th century. {2} The mill is no longer depicted by the time of the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map of 1905, indicating it had been removed by this time. {3}
