Full Description
Type 22 hexagonal pillbox. Built of concrete with wooden shuttering. It was sited to cover Boston Road, which is the main approach to Spilsby from the south. All its embrasures were blocked after the end of the war, and a locked wooden door was used to shut the entrance. {1}{2}
The pillbox was demolished during building works in April 2006. {3}
