Full Description

Possible enclosure, trackway and boundary ditch cropmarks have been noted on aerial photographs, and interpreted as being the remains of a prehistoric settlement. {1}{2}{3} Several possible worked flints and burnt stones were discovered in the vicinity of this site in February 2005, during field walking along the proposed route of the Aswarby to Harrowby water pipeline. The artefacts were all surface finds, but were not retained. {4}{5}
