A possible moat has been recorded in HTL parish file for Belton and Manthorpe. However, the grid reference supplied is in Syston parish. {1}
There is no evidence for a moat on the OS County Series map, but stone pits are indicated, which may have been interpreted as being the remains of a moat. {2}
