Full Description

During a watching brief on land to the south of Christ's Hospital Terrace, within the churchyard of St Michael-on-the-Mount, a limestone wall was recorded in a service trench. The wall consisted of three courses of limestone blocks founded on a further course of similar stones. It was orientated east to west with roughly squared blocks bonded with a yellow-brown lime mortar. It was interpreted as possibly the remains of a medieval terrace wall. {1}{2}
