Full Description

During a watching brief on a pipeline running alongside Willoughby Road a flint blade of mesolithic date was recovered from a buried topsoil beside the road. The find may relate to the extensive finds of mesolihtic flintwork from the sand quarry to the north of the road (PRN 30314 and 30315). {1}{2}
