Full Description

A Neolithic polished stone axe was found in February 1976, on the edge of a ploughed field to the south of the Fossdyke at Skellingthorpe. It was made of brown flint which contained several impurities, and measured c.125mm long. It was donated to the City and County Museum. {1}
