Ridge and furrow earthworks survive within Norton Big Wood. Some of the remains have been heavily disturbed by later activity. The maximum thickness of the ridges were augered. {1}
During an evaluation at Norton Disney Big Wood, evidence of ridge and furrow underlying the present woodland was recorded. {2}
