Full Description

PRN 43803 Evidence of late post-medieval gravel quarrying was identified east of Albert Street in the western part of the site. It seems that the quarrying may have disturbed a Romano-British occupation site (see 43804). {1} Trial trenching centred on TF 2660 6940 identified further late post-medieval gravel extraction pits. {2}{3}
