Full Description

Cropmarks of a probable trackway, boundary ditch and enclosure, to the north-east of North Scarle. The trackway is visible as a double ditched linear feature, running on a south-west to north-east alignment for approximately 210m. A straight boundary ditch lies perpendicular to the northern end of the trackway, which seems to pass through a gap in the boundary, although the relationship between the two is uncertain. The enclosure lies a short distance to the south-east, and is visible as an incomplete rectangle measuring approximately 40m wide. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}{2}
