Full Description
Cropmarks of a group of enclosures of unknown date, to the south of North Scarle. The group appears to be comprised of at least three roughly rectilinear enclsoures, with other possible linear features or boundaries being associated, though some of the marks be geological in origin. The main enclosure is largely complete and measures roughly 50m by 30m, with straight parallel long sides, and one convex and the straight short sides. The other enclosures lie to the east and south-east, showing as a right-angled corner, and an incomplete, rough square measuring approximately 20m wide. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}{2}
