Full Description
A Methodist chapel (Free United) is indicated on the 1905 County Series OS map. In the 1990s the building on the site is marked as a garage. {1}
The site was visited in 2009. The building on the site is now used by a grass cutting service and was previously an agricultural engineering works. It has been much altered but has some features which suggest that elements of the former chapel may survive. The gable elevation has traces of ashlar quoins and chamfered angles. Blocked segmental-headed and flat-headed windows can be discerned on the south-west and north-east elevations.{2}
