Full Description
Village Farmhouse is an early nineteenth century brick building with a pantile ridge roof and brick coped gables with kneelers and stacks. It has a central doorway, with a glazed door and rectangular overlight, and a wooden surround of pilasters and brackets supporting a pedimented hood. The listing also includes a wall with a gate and iron railings. Village Farm, Eagle and Swinethorpe. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {2}
