Full Description

PRN 60949 Medieval/post medieval rim sherd from a bowl was found during fieldwalking in advance of the Hatton-Silk Willoughby gas pipeline. {1}{2} A medieval road consisting of a metalled surface made up of limestone fragments and gravel was recorded during a watching brief and trial trenching. Animal bones and pottery sherds were recovered from its surface.{3}{4}{5}{6}
