Full Description
Post medieval artefacts were recovered by D. Baker while metal detecting north east of Syston village, near Six Acre Plantation. The finds were 5 coins of Elizabeth I, a half penny of James I, 40 musket and 40 pistol balls, a lead monogrammed bag seal, a barrle top and a George III 1776 solid silver spoon. {1}
