Full Description

Early 19th century milepost is located at Joy Hill, on the southern side of Church End. It is triangular in plan, and made of cast-iron. It is inscribed 'WRANGLE' in the top panel, with 'BOSTON 9M' and 'WAINFLEET 9M' in the respective side panels. It was found to be in good condition at that time, and appeared to be relatively well maintained. {3}
