Full Description

A stone implement was found in a ploughed field at Bigby, south east of Bridge Farm. It is unpolished and covered with small pockmarks remaining from its being pecked into shape. The stone from which it is made appears to be a dolerite, and is perhaps Group XVIII. {1}
