Full Description

A fragment of Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch (15), possibly seventh century, was found during the Kingerby metal detecting rally (41). Another fragment of possible cruciform brooch (6th-7th century) was found (68). Also found were a 7th-8th century annular brooch, a brooch fragment decorated with two heads, a 7th-8th century cruciform brooch fragment and two possible girdle hangers (154-58, photo 59). At TF 061 926 a Viking or Anglo-Saxon belt fitting or brooch fragment was found (227, photo 74). {1}{2}
