- MOAT (Medieval - 1066 AD to 1539 AD)
Protected Status/Designation
Full Description
PRN 60971
Hall Close was first documented in 1860. There are earthworks on the site, which are scheduled as fishponds (SAM 31601, PRN 60285). There is no sign of a manorial curia, and it appears that the moated site has now been ploughed out, and thus is not included in the scheduling. {1}{2}{3}
