Full Description
Three large limestone blocks and a small section of possible wall were revealed during a watching brief for watermains replacement on Bailgate. The limestone blocks could be the southern end of a colonnade on the east side of the street, identified in the nineteenth century, with the section of the wall perhaps also associated with this same building. {1}
