Full Description
THE SEWAGE PUMPING STATION AT GREAT NORTHERN TERRACE WAS PROBABLY BUILT AROUND THE TURN OF THE CENTURY. IT IS RED BRICK WITH YELLOW AND BLUE DRESSINGS IN ELABORATE DESIGN. THE CHIMNEY IS NOW REDUCED TO 15 FEET. THERE IS ALSO A SINGLE STROEY RED BRICK WEIGH BRIDGE WITH ENGINEERING BRICK DRESSINGS, PARTLY REBUILT. ON THE INTERIOR IN 1982 WERE AVERY SCALES, DESK AND A FIREPLACE. {1}
