Full Description
This warehouse was still in use in 1981. It is a three storey warehouse with an eccentric loading bay on the first floor. It is of English bond with simple arched windows, cast iron frames and stone sills. It has an attractive cast iron fire escape, Duckering columns and cast iron projections on the east gable end. It forms a group with Eddie Gordon's car body works which may have been a warehouse or a maltings. It is 18 yards long of early nineteenth century English garden wall bond with three rows of stretchers between headers. It is of three storeys with a central loading bay and simple arched windows and stone sills (originally there were three windows each side of the central loading bay). There are two vents on the early stone tiled roof. There is a cobbled yard between these two warehouses. {1}
