A circular cropmark seen in 1959 AP's by T.Hayes. Now within Lincoln City Boundary {1}
Geophysical survey (magnetometry and magnetic susceptibility) was undertaken on a plot of land off Nettleham Road, Lincoln in advance of residential development. The aim of the survey was to gather sufficient information to establish the location and extent of any archaeological features within the development area. The survey identified a number of very feint, sub-circular anomalies which represent possible barrows recorded in aerial photographs {2} {3}
