Full Description

PRN 70030 A Roman civilian gabled tombstone has been re-used in the tower of St Mary le Wigford church (PRN 70508). An Anglo-Saxon inscription has been added in the triangular top section of the stone (see church record for details). The stone may have come from the extensive Roman cemetery to the south (PRN 70021). {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
