SAXON FINDS WERE RECOVERED FROM LAND AT SMITHY FARM WHILE METAL DETECTING, OPPOSITE THE CHURCH. THESE INCLUDED BROOCHES AND TENTH CENTURY STRAP ENDS. {1}
Pins, and a large fragment of a coin of Eadred were also recovered. {2}
