ROMANO-BRITISH POTTERY SCATTER FOUND WHILST FIELDWALKING. THE SCATTER INCLUDED GREY WARE AND ALSO SEVERAL C3 AND C4 COINS. {1}
While metal detecting on the field south of the railway station Roman bronze coins were recovered, which were mostly Constantine, and 1 or 2 Electus. Roman pottery, a ring, horse bit fittings and oyster shells were also identified. {2}
