Full Description

SEVERAL UNDATED FEATURES WERE IDENTIFIED DURING A GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY AND WATCHING BRIEF AT USHERS COURT NEAR NEWARK ROAD. IN THE CENTRAL-SOUTHERN PART OF THE SITE SEVERAL SMALL LINEAR CUTS WITH SHALLOW SIDES AND CONCAVE BASES WERE IDENTIFIED. THERE WAS ALSO A SUBSTANTIAL LINEAR FEATURE WHICH MAY BE AN ELONGATED PIT. A POSSIBLE POST HOLE WAS ALSO REVEALED, THOUGH THIS MAY BE A ROOT HOLE. IN THE NORTERNMOST PART OF THE SITE WAS A SMALL PIT AND POSSIBLE POST HOLE. FURTHER WEST ANOTHER POSSIBLE POST HOLE WAS IDENTIFIED. {1}{2}
