AN UNUSUAL IRON RING WITH THE REMAINS OF A PASTE 'GEM' IN THE BEZEL. THE DECORATION SUGGESTS THAT IT IS MEDIEVAL, POSSIBLY AS EARLY AS C13, WAS FOUND IN A FIELD IN DUNSTON. {1}
