Full Description
RB POTTERY WAS RECOVERED FROM THE WESTERN FIELD DURING ARCHAEOLOGICAL MONITORING OF WORKS ON A WATER PIPELINE. THIS INCLUDES A LARGE RIM SHERD IDENTIFIED AS TRENT VALLEY WARE, IN USE TO ABOUT C2. CRUSHED FRAGMENTS OF A POSSIBLE LOOMWEIGHT WERE SEEN IN THE SAME FIELD. THERE ARE REPORTS OF ROMAN COINS FOUND BY METAL DETECTORISTS IN THE EASTERN FIELD. {1}
