Full Description
Three abraded sherds of Roman pottery were found in this field during a walkover. The field lies east of the railway line and south of Boston Road near Sleaford. Detectorists have been seen searching the field but the landowner has no knowledge of any finds. {1}
Metal detectorists have recovered some Roman finds from this field. These include a 1st century Hod Hill type brooch, and coins, including barbarous radiates. See list in parish file. {2}
