A VERY ROLLED PALAEOLITHIC BIFACIAL FLINT HANDAXE, FOUND BY PHIL HARDING IN THE REJECT HEAP FROM THE REDLANDS AGGREGATE PIT AT THORPE ON THE HILL. {1} ANOTHER WAS FOUND ON THE SURFACE OF A CHANNEL ABOVE BALDERTON GRAVELS IN 1994. NGR GIVEN AS APPROX SK898661. {3}
