ARCHAEOLOGICAL WATCHING BRIEF AND EVALUATION ON A WETLAND SITE FOUND VERY LITTLE ARCHAEOLOGY. NEVERTHELESS A NUMBER OF ARTEFACTS FROM THE IMMEDIATE AREA ALREADY IN THE POSSESSION OF THE CURRENT SITE OWNERS WERE REPORTED. THESE INCLUDED A GROUP OF 15 C3 AND C4 ROMAN COINS, SOME TILE AND A FEW SHERDS OF ROMANO-BRITISH POTTERY FROM THE C2 TO THE C4. {1}
