PRN 60585 SHERDS OF MIDDLE SAXON POTTERY WERE FOUND A BACKFILLED DITCH DURING A WATCHING BRIEF AT THE HOPLANDS, BOSTON ROAD. {1}{2}{3} During excavation at the former Hoplands Business Centre by Archaeological Project Services in January and February 2009, a feature which contained a 4th to 5th century copper alloy bracelet and a sherd of Anglo Saxon pottery was revealed. A layer of dark earth or overburden was also uncovered across the whole site. {4}{5}
