THREE SHERDS OF EARLY ANGLO-SAXON POTTERY WERE RECOVERED FROM A LAYER IN THE UPPER FILL OF A ROMAN BOUNDARY DITCH. THEY MAY INDICATE NEARBY SETTLEMENT. {1}{2}
