Full Description

60576 A ROMANO-BRITISH FIELD SYSTEM, COMPRISING DITCHES AND GULLIES, WERE THE EARLIEST REMAINS RECORDED ON THE SITE AT HALL FIELD. OVERLYING THESE WAS A THIRD CENTURY RECTANGULAR ENCLOSURE, WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN PART OF A SMALL FARMSTEAD, ALTHOUGH THERE WAS A LACK OF OCCUPATION REMAINS. A PORTION OF A CEMETERY WAS ALSO RECORDED. {1}{2}
