DURING MONITORING OF THE HARMSTON TO COLEBY WATERMAINS REPLACEMENT A RUBBISH PIT WAS OBSERVED IN A TRENCH SECTION ON CHURCH LANE. THERE WAS ONE SMALL SHERD OF MAXEY WARE POTTERY, FABRIC B, SOME CATTLE BONES AND TEETH, SOME OF WHICH HAD BUTCHERY MARKS. {1}
