The remains of a dug-out boat, found in May 1912 and recorded by A. Smith (Curator of Lincoln Museum). A fragment of the boat is preserved in the Museum Store. The boat originally measured 21 feet six inches long by three feet wide, and had cross pieces under the stern. {2}{3}
The Ordnance Survey record card has TF1420 6557 as the National Grid Reference. {1}
