Full Description

TWO FLINT ARTEFACTS ARE SAID TO HAVE BEEN FOUND IN THIS FIELD CONTAINING A SECTION OF THE CAR DYKE (SAM 311), NORTH OF WASHINGBOROUGH VILLAGE BY THE FARMER 'SOME TIME AGO'. THE FINDS ARE A FLINT POLISHED AXE AND A FLAT DISCOIDAL KNIFE. BOTH WERE REPORTED TO THE WASHINGBOROUGH PARISH PROJECT. {1}{2}
