THE REMAINS OF THE MEDIEVAL VILLAGE CROSS STAND IN THE CENTRE OF SLEAFORD ROAD, CRANWELL. ONLY THE BASE IS MEDIEVAL, THE REST OF THE CROSS WAS RESTORED IN 1903-4 BY C H FOWLER. {1}{2}{3} THERE IS A FULL DESCRIPTION IN THE REVISED SCHEDULING DOCUMENT 22630 {4} The cross is also a Grade II Listed building.
