Full Description
Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow are visible on aerial photographs, taken of this area to the east of Walcot Spinney. {1}
The remains are clearly visible on more recent lidar data, and show as surviving linear earthworks, half of which is aligned on a roughly north to south axis, whilst the other half is aligned roughly east to west, showing a division in the former open field system here. {2}
