60253 Henry Godson almshouses of 1886, Gothic style with many small lancets. {1} Four almshouses erected 1888, bequeathed by Henry Godson. Since converted to two houses. {2} A photograph of the previous almshouses of about 1860 shows that the buildings were mud and stud, which were replaced by the present buildings. {3} For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {4}
