Full Description

60122 Romano-British pot sherds were ploughed up on February 18th 1938 (at SK 9578 5142), and a 'Corinthian brass coin with three holes bored in it' (exact find spot is not known) was also recovered. {1}{2} Further pottery, including Samian ware and a barbarous radiate were found in 1969. {3} Sherds of Romano-British grey ware and a further third century coin were found during the early 1990s. {4}{5}
