A BYZANTINE LEAD SEAL FOUND BY A DETECTORIST IN TANK FIELD, TORKSEY. THE SEAL IS THAT OF ALEXIS COMNENOS THE BYAZNTINE EMPEROR FROM 1081 - 1118. THE FIELD WHERE IT WAS FOUND ALSO YIELDED 14 NORTHUMBRIAN STYCAS AND OTHER ANGLO- SAXON AND MEDIEVAL MATERIAL. {1}
