THERE WERE FINDS OF 13 UNDATED, POSSIBLY ROMAN SKELETONS, SOME OF WHICH WERE UNDER SLABS, FOUND IN 1963 BEHIND COUNCIL HOUSES IN NORBECK LANE. THIS IS JUST TO THE EAST OF THE SAXON BURIAL GROUND. {1}
