Full Description
THE STATION AT REEPHAM WAS BUILT C.1848 AS PART OF THE LINCOLN-BARNETBY LINE. THE STATION WAS OPEN IN 1965 BUT SUBSEQUENTLY CLOSED. THE LINE WAS OPEN IN 1995, BUT MOST STRUCTURES OF THE FORMER STATION HAVE BEEN DEMOLISHED. IN 1965 IT WAS IN SOUND STRUCTURAL CONDITION. IT HAD BEEN ENLARGED LIKE OTHER STATIONS IN THIS SECTION. THE PLATFORMS ARE STAGGERED. THE BUILDINGS, YARD AND UP PLATFORM ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE LEVEL CROSSING, DOWN PLATFORM ON THE OTHER SIDE. BY 1965 THE TRACK IN THE YARD HAD BEEN LIFTED AND GOODS PLATFORM PARTLY DEMOLISHED. ALSO SIGNAL BOX. {1}
