Full Description
THE RAILWAY BRIDGE WAS BUILT C.1848 AS PART OF THE LINCOLN BARNETBY LINE. IT IS IN THE LINE OF EMBANKMENT AND CONSISTS OF METAL GIRDERS BETWEEN BRICK PIERS WITH THREE SECTIONS. THE MIDDLE SECTION CROSSES THE STREAM; TWO SIDE SECTIONS EACH HAVE FARM TRACKS. TOTAL LENGTH OF BRIDGE C.100 FT. IT IS LOCATED BETWEEN LANGWORTH AND STAINTON CROSSING. {1}
