Full Description

Cropmarks of probable post-medieval warping drains at Wildsworth and Laughton. Outside the village closes and associated old enclosures, much of the presently cultivable land was created by warping from the late 18th to the early 19th centuries. {1}{2} The cropmarks had initially been thought to represent the remains of Romano-British enclosures and radiating roads. {3}{4}
