Morton Hall is situated by the River Trent, north-west of the church, and is of Mid-Georgian date. It has a potential medieval moat adjacent to it. {1} Morton Hall is the former listing name for No.21 Eliot House. The house was built in the mid 18th century and underwent alterations and additions in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was built of red brick and has ashlar dressings and slate roofs.
